開発のための外国直接投資
グローバリゼーションを貧困削減に活かす

先進諸国の対外直接投資はこれまで、開発の側面を必ずしも十分に考慮していないとして市民社会から批判されてきました。OECD国際投資・多国籍企業委員会はこの状況を受け、外国直接投資の流入と開発との関連につき世界各国で実施した調査結果を「開発のための外国直接投資：利益の最大化、コストの最小化」と題したレポートにまとめました。この調査では、外国直接投資が被投資国にもたらす恩恵だけではなく、マイナスの影響（コスト）も明らかにされています。

OECD東京センターでは、今般、本レポートの著者であるＯＥＣＤ事務局のハンス・クリスチャンセン氏をスピーカーに招き、開発のための外国直接投資に関するセミナーを以下の通り開催致します。 是非ご参加頂きますようご案内申し上げます。

Foreign Direct Investment for Development:
Making Globalisation Work for the Poor

In the context of international direct investment, the world's most highly developed countries have been criticised by members of civil society for not taking the development aspects sufficiently into account. The OECD Committee on International Investment and Multinational Enterprises has now risen to the challenge. The Committee has released a in-depth study Foreign Direct Investment for Development: Maximising Benefits, Minimising Costs, surveying evidence from around the world of linkages between inward FDI and economic development. Importantly, the study does not limit itself to demonstrating benefits for the recipient economies. Some evidence of negative effects ("costs") of FDI are also brought to light.

The OECD Tokyo Centre is pleased to invite you to a seminar with Mr. Hans Christiansen, an author of this report on FDI for development.
