and the market economy. With active relationships with some 70
other countries, NGOs and civil society, it has a global reach.
Best known for its publications and its statistics, its work covers
economic and social issues from macroeconomics, to trade, education,
development and science and innovation.

About OECD Tokyo Centre:
The OECD Tokyo Centre was established in 1973 to market the publications
of the OECD in Asia and the Pacific and to serve as an information
center for this region. The Centre is engaged in public outreach
activities and acts as a liaison office to the Japanese legislative
and executive branches.
The Centre is open Mondays through Fridays, 9:30am - 5:30pm.
The following services are available:
On-site Sales of OECD publications. Visa and MasterCard accepted.
Availability of various free documents, press releases, information
brochures, newsletters, etc.
A Library of OECD publications is open to the public. PCs are
available for viewing of various statistical files and searching
for OECD pulications. No appointment is necessary to visit the
library.
Advice on where to find specific OECD information.
Conferences and briefings for the Press.
Seminars for the genral public.
Videoconferences with OECD Paris Officials.
